Encrypted USB keys made easy with GNU/Linux

Filed under: Uncategorized — Olivier Berger @ 14:31

I’ve posted before (actually one of my first posts on this blog), about the way I use a USB storage key to host crypted informations and manage it easily on my GNU/Linux laptop… it was not really obvious though.

There seems to be a new way to do that with the use of device-mapper and LUKS, which is going to be integrated in the desktop tools in Gnome. Great, one more of my hacks that can be replaced by standard tools.

Filed under: Uncategorized — Olivier Berger @ 14:19
