2006 Newcom Evaluation
We've created a CD containing the various publications that Newcom partners
have contributed to the sftp site
(newcomdep1@newcom.ismb.it),
relating to research activities in department 1.
An ISO image of the CD can be downloaded here (43.3 MB).
Most any CD authoring software will accept an ISO image and burn
it directly to a blank disk.
If for some reason you can't burn a CD,
you can instead mount the ISO image as a virtual disk (depending on your operating system)
to browse the contents.
In Mac OS X, just double-click on the
file "Newcom-Dept1-Papers.iso" in the Finder; it should appear as
a mounted disk in the file system.
If instead you run Linux, then
at the command line you can type
% mount -t iso9660 -o loop Newcom-Dept1-Papers.iso /mnt/cdrom
which should make the contents appear in the directory /mnt/cdrom/
(the usual location for mounted CDs—you may need administrative access to do this).
In Windows XP, you might try this utility.
