Summary of Newcom Department 1 Workshop — Supra Work Package 1
Iterative Decoding and Iterative Receiver Design

Newcom (EC Contract no. 507325)
Summary
The second SWP1 meeting took place in Cergy-Pontoise (near Paris,
France) on December 15th and 16th, 2005. Twenty participants attended
this meeting, representing 11 Newcom partners involved in this
supra work package.
The first day of the meeting was
devoted to scientific talks (links appear below). During the second
day, interesting scientific discussions emerged from the presentations
of the first day and related to topics of SWP1. This working day
was very useful in advancing existing collaborations and initiating new
ones.
This general structure (one day of talks and 1-2 days of
face-to-face meetings) will be retained for the next supra work
package meeting, tentatively scheduled for June/July 2006.
