Summary
The Newcom Dept 1 meeting for Supra Work Package
4, "Large Scale, Large Band, and Asymptotic Systems,"
took place at the
Forschungszentrum Telekommunikation Wien (FTW),
Tech Gate Vienna,
Donau-City-Strase 1/3, Stock,
A-1220 Wien, Austria,
on April 1st, 2005, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
This supra work package represents a conglomerate of two activities:
- Random matrices;
- Ultra wide band (UWB) scaling;
with some partners interesting in contributing to both sub-topics.
The technical discussions served to better identify themes for
further collaboration, and to finalize the contributions
of supra work package 4 in the Joint Program of Research Activities
for the coming 18 months of Department 1 of Newcom.
